Our Purpose

As moms, we understand how difficult it can be to just survive the day sometimes. We know what it’s like to feel run down, tired, and overwhelmed. There are even days where we feel completely discouraged and all alone. No mama should have to feel this way!

About two years ago, we started meeting on a weekly basis. We would spend a couple of hours every Tuesday morning pouring out our hearts to each other, reading scripture together, and praying with one another. After leaving, we would feel refreshed and uplifted. It was through these meetings that we discovered the importance of community.

We created this site as a way for moms to get connected with other moms. It’s a safe place to share your concerns and meet moms who have already faced the obstacles you’re battling. Our desire is that this site will provide you with encouragement, comic relief, and useful information to help make your job easier. Most importantly, this site is designed to give you hope.

True Hope is Found in Jesus Christ

While it would be difficult to get through the days without the help of each other, we know that true hope is only found in Jesus Christ. So, if you don’t mind taking a moment to hear what we have to say, we would love to share that message of hope with you!

God Made Us in His Image

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

God loves us. He created us. He designed us. He has a purpose for our lives. This applies to every single mama out there!

Sin Separates Us From God

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

God is perfect, but we are not. We have made our fair share of mistakes. In our experience, when you become a mom, you become even more aware of your faults.

The Punishment for Our Sins is Death

Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death…”

We deserve to die and face a life of eternity in hell for our mistakes. The reality of our sins isn’t pretty, but lucky for us, the story doesn’t end there.

God Sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to Die in OUR Place and Take the Punishment for OUR Sin

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus Christ, the perfect Son of God, faced a brutal death on the cross. He died to take the punishment for our sins, so that we may be reconciled with God. Then, three days later Jesus Christ rose from the grave. He accomplished the impossible; he conquered death.

We are Saved by God’s Grace When We Put Our Faith in His Son, Jesus Christ

Romans 10: 9-10 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved.”

God freely gives us his salvation; we don’t have to earn it. All we have to do is repent of our sins, confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that he rose from the dead.

A Prayer for Salvation

Our desire is for every single one of our readers to experience the love of Jesus Christ. If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then we beg you to consider asking him into your heart today. Here is an example of a prayer you can pray to get your conversation with God started.

Dear God,

I need you. I recognize that I am a sinner, so I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you sent your son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins. I know Jesus conquered sin and death by rising from the dead. I love you, Lord, and I devote myself to you. Please come into my heart and help me to live each day according to your will. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Once you have prayed this prayer and believed it in your heart, you will be saved. Now, it’s time to start living for Christ! If you have any questions or would like to learn more about what it means to be saved, please feel free to leave a comment below. Any one of us would be more than happy to reach out to you!
