Looking for educational gifts for kids? I love finding Christmas gifts for the kids that I know they will have a great time with, but they also will be learning. That is a definite mom win! Even better if they don’t even know they are learning. Here are my top educational picks for kids!
Pattern Blocks and Boards:
Ages: 3, 4, 5, and 6 years olds
Teddy Bear Memory:
Ages 2 and up
This game is fun and durable. Our game has held up through 4 kids so far! When first starting with this game I only put out half the bears and as the child gets better we add more bears into the memory game. This is one of my 3 year old’s favorites.
Ages 6 and up
We got this for Christmas last year and we have had SO much fun with it. Labeled for 6 and up but our 5-year-old has enjoyed playing this game as well.
See and Spell
Ages 4, 5, and 6 years
I wasn’t really expecting this one to be as big of a hit with our kids as it was. They had so much fun finding the letters, spelling out the words and then being able to read the words to me.
Ages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
This was a gift to us that was amazing while my daughter was learning to read. There are SO many different books, a map, and activities you can find to use with this reader pen. Really a neat gift! We even found books at the thrift store that we could load onto the reader!
Ages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
These are a ton of fun! Beware though there have been young children that ate the magnets and became very sick! We are really careful with them and keep them up high. They are not allowed to be out without asking since we have children that put things in their mouths.
Light-up Crystal Growing Kit for Kids
Rated for all ages
This looks so fun! A great way to have fun and get some science in.
Outdoor Explorer Kit & Bug Catcher Kit with Binoculars, Flashlight, Compass, Magnifying Glass, Critter Case, and Butterfly
It was a dream come true the day we finally got a butterfly net at our house! It comes with everything you need to catch bugs and study them up close.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Rocks & Fossils Kit – 200 Piece Set
Ages 8 and up
Great STEM gift! If your child has a rock collection, this is the perfect gift.
Play-Doh Shape and Learn Numbers and Counting
Ages 2 and up
A great hands-on activity to help children with counting, letters, and numbers. My toddler loves everything to do with play-doh. This is a great way to get him learning without it feeling like work!
